  • Outlook Calendar Access: Excelendar accesses your Outlook Calendar data to provide export functionality. We only request access to read/write your calendar events, list your calendars and read the calendar settings.
  • Temporary Processing: Calendar data is processed in real-time to generate your export. We do not ever store your calendar events on our servers.

Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage Data: We may collect information about how you use the Service, including features accessed and actions taken.
  • Technical Data: We may collect basic technical information such as browser type, operating system, and device information for troubleshooting and improvement purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate your account and provide access to features
  • Process your export requests

We do not:

3. Data Access & Processing

Outlook Calendar Permissions

  • Scope: We request read-write access to your Outlook Calendar.
  • Purpose: Access is used solely to manage calendar events as requested by you.
  • Duration: Calendar data is processed in real-time and is not retained after your import/export is complete.

Microsoft Integration

  • Subscription Management: Your subscription and payment information are managed exclusively by Microsoft through their commerce platform.
  • Microsoft's Privacy Policy: Microsoft's collection and use of your payment and subscription data is governed by Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
  • Data We Don't Collect: We do not collect, store, or process any payment card information, billing addresses, or other payment-related data.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Microsoft: We share minimal information with Microsoft as required for authentication, subscription management, and marketplace operations.
  • Service Providers: We may use trusted third-party service providers to help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting providers, analytics services). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
